Ghiyasuddin Tughlaq
- Founder of the Tughlaq dynasty = Ghiyasuddin Tughlaq Shah I (Qazi Malik)
- The first Delhi Sultan to wear the Qazi crown,
- The first Delhi Sultan to cut canals for irrigation
- The first Delhi Sultan to create a postal system was Ghiyasuddin Tughlaq I.

Muhammad bin Tughlaq
- Real name = Juna Khan
- In the Rajahmundry inscription, he is referred to as the “Khan of the World”.
- The most educated Sultan among the Delhi Sultans.
- His realm was divided into 23 provinces.
- He created a new department called “Diwan-Amir-i-Koghi” for agriculture.
- The Sultan was the first to introduce the currency exchange system.
- He was called the “Prince of Monetary Reform.”
- He was called “the wisest fool among fools,” “a wise man out of step with his time,” and “the Aristotle of his time.”
- The ruler who introduced the first signed currency in India.
- The famous Moroccan traveler “Ibn Batuta” visited the court of Muhammad bin Tughlaq in 1333 AD.
